New babies in our home!
David brought home 2 baby squirrels!! They were abandoned. After doing some research online today I'm sure I can care for them until they are old enough to be set free in the backyard! Their eyes aren't open yet but I think it will be very soon! I'm feeding them powdered puppy formula through a syringe and they are eating very well (every 4 hours)!! I'm estimating they are 1 month old. 1 of them is a busy body and I've been calling him Zippy. They other one isn't as busy but I haven't thought of a name for him yet. Any suggestions??? I'd love to hear your name ideas!

They are precious! You think they are a month old? I bet they are younger. We raised an abandoned kitty that we thought was about 2 weeks old--eyes were barely open, ears down, no teeth. We had to teach it to suckle and even to poop. Are they pooping ok? Let me know--I will give you ideas if you need them--hehe sounds crazy but it worked for us... I hope they survive...so sweet, although they will probably terrorize you one day--I guess it sounds like I am talking about teenagers... lol

Careful not to get attached. Look at those claws. They are precious now, but I bet they could do some real damage.
