Country Dirt Roads
Sometimes David and I get in his old diesel truck and just go riding around. There is something so comforting about riding down quiet dirt roads, watching nature, smelling the dirt, hearing the humming of the diesel engine. Just us. No radio. You never know what you might see! Here are 2 nice shots I snapped as we road.

In the lower part of the state, there are roads I used to go down as a child, but they were a little sandier due to the beach area.....great shots....my husband and love doing this in the late spring near his family's farm....I agree with everything you said....awesome, peaceful, a serene feeling.
