Prismacolor Pencils used: Orange, Spanish Orange, Sunburst Yellow, Blender
I started with YR16 and colored in close to the center of the flower:
Next, I used YR15 and filled in next to that for the midtones:
Then used Y17 for the highlights at the tips of the petals:
Then I went over and filled in a little more YR16 towards the center for a little "extra". I also colored in the stem with G28 (darker) and G24 (lighter). Then E25 and E21 for the center of the flower. I didn't spend too much time on that part b/c I knew I was going to cover it with distress gold stickles!
Normally, I would be done coloring this pretty little daisy, but I feel like I want more "orangey" contrast! So I got out my lovely Prismacolor Pencils and colored on top of my copics. Here I used, Orange for the darker part, then Spanish Orange next to that, then Sunburst Yellow for the tips. Can you tell the difference in contrast on the pic just above and the pic below?
- Tip: Be sure you are done coloring w/your copics b/c after you color with your prismacolor pencils you do NOT want to go back over with your copics... it will mess them up!
You can buy this digi stamp from Tiffany Doodles!

Beautiful tutorial. Thanks, I can't wait to get Copics.
The colored pencils really gives it a glow! I might try this today, I was off to do errands but lost my keys geesh, I think i dropped them when walking the dog (in the rain!) this morning, I had to "scoop" and it was a 2 bag job so when digging in my coat for another baggie I bet I dropped them. OK too much info huh (I blame the airbrush fumes for everything I say now LOL!)great card though:)
